Solution:

Markiserv fully finished branding and design within 2 months time which supplied SimpleCycle with: a fully modernized website design. This website was not only responsive, and modern, but incorporated an extensive amount of content to help communicate their mission and subscription package. The challenge here was so simply communicate to prospects, and customers, how their subscription worked, how it benefited the environment, and how the rules involved in recycling with SimpleCycle were not meant to be a barrier to participate, but a safety measure to reduce contamination and waste. We managed to do this by designing impactful, colorful, and simple creative that plugged into the story of what they were wanting to communicate. Adding robust verbiage and content to help support this.
A polished logo which was approved unanimously from their leadership team. This logo took a few rounds of edits, and revisions, but was able to easily incorporate the company's vision for their brand while communicating the viewers what SimpleCycle stood for. The arrow around the logo connecting to a snap of the finger showcases recycling made easy, the name of the business is brandished with a recycling logo and leaf to communicate the impact to the environment, while the green and white are color schemes that plug in well to the green movement.
Two months worth of social creative for: X, Facebook, and Instagram. This social creative, and copy, was meant to sustain SimpleCycle until they requested more. The main purpose of the social creative that was designed was to build awareness to consumers and get them to contact SimpleCycle's social profiles to learn more - where the team could then start direct them to their website.
Video content for YouTube was also developed which SimpleCycle leveraged in an ad campaign. We also designed full website content from banners, images, and wrote the majority of the copy.
Full Overview & Solution:

SimpleCycle was, at the time, a new startup in Raleigh North Carolina that was looking to make a large impact to plastic recycling. Their main focus is to recycle plastic film, to then convert it into materials that are used in creating artificial wood products. This was going to be a significant challenge for SimpleCycle on many different fronts. For one most Americans have their own recycling centers provided to them for free, or get their recycling picked up at their homes. However the issue was is that recycling is being landfilled, not properly recycled. SimpleCycle wanted to educate prospects to the benefits of recycling with them, and showcasing that indeed their plastics are being put to good use when being remanufactured and not landfilled.
However most consumers were not motivated to pay a monthly subscription no matter the benefit to the environment, or lottery system that SimpleCycle enticed potential users with. It was when they came to us for graphic design services, and design their entire brand from top to bottom in order to fully attract, entice, educate, and wow their audience base.
Another problem they were looking to solve was the lack of engagement of local municipalities. SimpleCycle would not only be collecting plastics from residents, but also from the local governments, and partnering with them to gain more traction. However, this was an uphill climb, and we had all the design tools to help make that impact and truly knock at the door when they launched their brand.
After working with their senior leadership on understanding their mission, pain, and target markets - Our first step was to establish a baseline design strategy to truly launch their brand effectively into the market, and lean into what their potential customers really wanted: simple, transparent, and easy recycling processes.
Smooth Website Design

The most important aspect of most businesses today when it comes to marketing is a solid website design. A website now, to any business, is the cornerstone to their marketing efforts and presence on the web. Our approach to designing this website was simple: visual appeal in the sustainability category, while offering a robust image library that would solidify the message being told by the business. The bulk of this design went into building imagery that helped to communicate the: how to with the subscription, and product design.
The subscription held a vast amount of verbiage that was a slog to read through. Our approach was to showcase the importance of the content through a handful of images that would entice the reader into learning more.
The result was a full library built by our graphic designers, which has helped prospects navigating the website to learn more, stay on page longer, and clickthrough at higher rates.
Getting the Message Out:
We were very passionate about this project. After spending a lot of time with our clients we determined that the number one way for them to truly grow their brand would be from growing their consumer base through a longer social media awareness play. We designed a short term social media strategy they could leverage and replicate for future use, in addition to a few months worth of social media creative design. The social media content we designed for SimpleCycle was built to educate, and inform, with short simple facts that had impactful imagery and backgrounds. The number one key to SimpleCycle growth was going to be through research, and to showcase the impact of plastic pollution to the masses. Our creative that we designed did just that. Quantitative facts, qualitative verbiage mixed together to produce stunning creative social.
