Print Domestic: Graphic Design Supporting American Small Business
Share
Summary & Brief:
Client:
Morrisville, NC
Our Scope:
Graphic design, logo design, and branding.
Objective:
To create basic branding so Print Domestic can represent itself in local communities and have the ability for customers/prospects to readily recognize the brand, and identify it with domestic, American owned, small businesses.
Support Print Domestic in early design of shirt printing requests as they come in from clients until they gain enough staff to support the requests on their own.
Create graphics and banner artwork they can use on their social media pages and in their store.
All efforts provided by Markiserv were to support Print Domestic in keeping their brand operating during the COVID-19 pandemic. The assets we were designing for them with our focused team of designers were meant to support and save a small American business during uncertain times. The logo, banner, and relative branding elements were to help with their own marketing efforts and uplift their brand. The support we were giving with their apparel design was to assist with their shortage of staff.
Solution:
We designed a new logo, color scheme, banner, and gave branding support (guidelines, brand book, taglines, and content recommendations) to help the owners so they could focus more on their own business. The structure of our subscription, and focused services, were a perfect fit for this domestic print shop as they used us like their own in-house designer to save on time, overhead expenses, and improve their overall return on investment while they were attempting to restructure their business, and work on print designs that came in from their own clients.
For 3 years, we processed designs for Print Domestic until they were able to get back on level footing and start hiring their own staff again. We helped with hundreds of designs in that time. Once we got the requests in from Print Domestic, we would design, to specification, what their clients were looking for on a digital representation of their apparel item, and send it back to Print Domestic for printing purposes. Major categories included: Hats, shirts, pants, sneakers, beanies, and sweatshirts. These spanned multiple segments, major industries were: schools, corporate offices, and interior design organizations.
